Notably, the ERP labeling integration allowed Flex-Strut Inc. to eliminate its labeling bottleneck, increasing its label printing speed by 100%.

A long-time TEKLYNX customer, Flex-Strut Inc. sought to improve workflow and consistency throughout its production facility and looked to its labeling operations for opportunities to do so. “With our former label process, we would produce and update each label for every sales order we processed, a process that would take longer than actually entering the sales order in the system,” says Flex-Strut Inc. Director of Information Technology, Terry Kakavros.

In many instances, the company’s production operators were entering data that already existed in its ERP system.

The addition of print automation increased Flex-Strut Inc.’s labeling accuracy by 25%. The company was also able to eliminate its labeling bottleneck, resulting in an 100% increase in label printing speed.
